MESH AND SHOTCRETE

Broken rock or rock subject to deterioration once exposed, such as shale, is often coated with shotcrete to add structural strength and to retain moisture. 

The shotcrete is tied into the rock with friction stabilizers.The shotcrete can be fiber reinforced or shot over poultry mesh, chain link fence, or welded wire fabric.
