The Judy Company sells dependable and affordable
anchoring systems. Our anchoring systems consist of rock bolts, rock
anchors, tiebacks, tie downs, earth anchors, soil nails, concrete
anchors, & post-tensioned tendons.
Anchoring systems allow for more durable, reliable and economical
tension supports, which are used in a wide variety of situations to
stabilize, secure, and augment structures. Made of high strength
steel bars or strands, they can be bonded to rock, concrete and many
other types of soil. Anchoring systems are used to counteract
external, overturning, uplift, and seismic forces, and are used
actively (pre-stressed) or passively (non-stressed).
A portion of the anchoring system’s length is bonded to rock or
concrete by cement grout, resin, or fixed by a mechanical anchor.
The upper portion of the anchoring system is left un-grouted for
pre-stressing, but is grouted afterwards to lock in tension and
protect against corrosion.
A few advantages of our anchoring systems are that they come in
various strengths. They also work in rock, either solid or broken,
concrete, and many types of soil. Finally, the anchoring systems
provide extra support for high capacity loads.
Anchoring systems from the Judy Company provide for stability and
durability. Using them allows for a safe and reliable foundation.
